In partnership with EQUI-KIDS, Equine Therapy is an interactive process combining the use of a Equine - Assisted Psychotherapy trained horse, helping patients rebuild a sense of confidence and perspective, while providing a sense of comfort.

WHY HORSES?

• Horses are keen observers and sensitive to movement and emotion.
• Horses often mirror a client’s behavior or emotions, allows patients to feel safe.

Patients will groom, lead, and observe horses in the pasture to explore communication and behavior.

(Patients will not be riding horses)

Registration and Medical Release from medical professional is required.

Classes will be the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
