Anyone who has had surgery, an injury, or is suffering from arthritis, bursitis or tendonitis can benefit from orthopedic rehabilitation. We also provide conditioning for people getting ready for surgery to help improve recovery times.

Orthopedic rehab can help you to build strength, improve your range of motion and relieve pain. It can return you to your previous level of function, making physical activities - from getting out of bed to playing sports - easier to do.

Prehab conditioning

Our therapists get you ready for surgery with specific exercises to help you recover quickly. This exercise program helps your joints get stronger and stay flexible.

About four to eight weeks before surgery, our therapists screen you to learn your individual needs and develop a specific conditioning program.

Post-surgery rehabilitation

After surgery, you meet with our physical and occupational therapy specialists to discuss your goals and needs. Our experts work as a team to manage pain and help you heal.

Hand therapy

Our hand therapy program offers comprehensive care after injury or surgery to the hands, wrists, elbows or shoulders.

Kinesio taping

Kinesio taping involves applying elastic tape to support muscles, reduce pain and swelling and enhance movement.

Manual therapy

We treat some conditions that affect muscles and joints with manual therapy. Our certified manual physical therapists offer hands-on treatments, including joint manipulation, soft tissue mobilization and stretching.

McKenzie Method?

The McKenzie Method experts assess your symptoms and recommend specific movements to help reduce pain and improve range of motion. We teach you how to perform these movements at home to manage symptoms.

Movement retraining

We can teach you new ways of moving that prevent repetitive motion injuries, and improve flexibility and function.

Orthotics

Orthotics involves the design and use of supportive devices, such as braces, splints and custom shoe inserts. These devices are used to improve function, reduce pain and support the musculoskeletal system.

Orthopedic therapists often work with patients to assess their needs and prescribe appropriate orthotic devices as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
